After 8 years of being a member, Melissa Wortman's passion for the CrossFit Bear community culminated in her becoming an owner alongside with Wayne and Meg in 2024. Whether it's membership services, event and calendar planning, or general management, Melissa takes pride in fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and energetic gym environment. When she’s not at the gym, Melissa and her husband, Brad, own and operate First State Landscaping and are raising two high school aged kids who’ve both grown up in the gym.
